Our place is at 123, Shree Shiva Nagar Ivloha Mandi Road. As the name Jaipur Araina Art Private Limited suggests, we are all about making things. Being on Loha Mandi Road means we are surrounded by the sounds of metal and industrial work, which actually fits what we do quite well. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, but that’s where the best work happens. We have a workshop where things are being hammered or shaped most of the day. It’s not a quiet office environment by any means. Our staff is mostly made up of people who know how to work with their hands. We don't have any polished brochures or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a project, covered in a bit of grit. We take the art part seriously, but we are practical about it. It’s about getting the pieces right and making sure they are sturdy. The neighborhood of Shiva Nagar is quite active, and we’ve been part of it for a good bit now. Sometimes we sit outside when the sun goes down just to get away from the noise of the machinery for a bit. We aren't trying to be some high-end gallery; we are just a working studio that makes things for people who appreciate the effort that goes into handmade stuff. It’s a lot of long hours but we enjoy it.
