Jainsahab Namkeen Private Limited

Jainsahab Namkeen Private Limited is our little business located at 146, Gayri Mohalla in Khempura. We are right in the middle of a residential street, so the neighbors always know when we are working because the smell of frying spices fills the whole block. We make different kinds of namkeen and savory snacks. It is a very hands-on process. We have these large iron pans and long ladles that we use to fry the snacks in small batches. It is not a modern factory with conveyor belts. Everything is done by people who have been making these recipes for a long time. The floor is often a bit greasy, no matter how much we scrub it, and the walls are darkened by the steam from the cooking. Khempura is a busy place, and our unit at Gayri Mohalla is always humming with activity. We have a small counter at the front where local people can come and buy directly from us. We don't have any fancy plastic packaging with bright colors; we mostly use plain bags that we seal ourselves. It is a lot of hard work, standing over the hot oil all day, especially in the summer months. But we like the fact that people in the neighborhood enjoy what we make. We aren't looking to become a global brand. We just want to keep the quality consistent and the snacks crunchy.
