Jain Soda Water

Jain Soda Water is located on Tekha Road. It’s a pretty simple setup we have here. We’ve been on this road for quite a while, and most of the people who live nearby know the sound of our machinery. We make soda, and we do it in a way that’s been working for us for years. The building is just a basic structure that keeps the rain off the equipment. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back working on the carbonation or washing out the old glass bottles. It gets pretty loud when everything is running, so we have to shout to hear each other. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s baking outside. We don't do much in the way of advertising because the soda speaks for itself once people try it. We fill the crates, stack them up, and wait for the delivery rickshaws to take them away. It’s a routine that we’ve got down to a science now. There’s always something that needs fixing, like a leaky valve or a stuck belt, but that’s part of the job. We aren't looking to change much. We like the way things are on Tekha Road. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We usually have a spare soda for ourselves at the end of the shift.
