Jai Shree Kirana Store

Jai Shree Kirana Store is at A-42 near the Chitrakoot Stadium on Ajmer Road. Being near the stadium means we get a lot of people passing by during games or events. We are a standard grocery shop where you can find flour, oil, spices, and household cleaners. The shelves are mostly metal and they go all the way to the ceiling. We use a ladder to reach the stuff on the top when someone asks. It is usually just one or two of us working here at a time. We open early and stay open until late evening so people can pick up things they forgot on their way home. The traffic on Ajmer Road is constant, so there is always a hum of cars in the background. We have a small freezer for milk and curd. It is not a supermarket, so you won't find aisles to walk through; you just ask us for what you want over the counter and we get it for you. We have a lot of bags and boxes piled up in the corner from the morning delivery. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people want different things at once, but we manage to handle it. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know the local gossip and who is moving in or out. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop where we try to keep enough stock for everyone.
