Jai Sai Watch Co

Jai Sai Watch Co is over at 43/13/1 Swarn Path in Mansarovar. It’s a small shop, mainly focused on watches of all kinds. We have a glass counter where we keep the newer ones, and a little workbench where the repairs happen. The street outside, Swarn Path, stays fairly busy with people going about their business. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to be careful about where we put things. There are clocks on the wall that chime sometimes, though we try to keep them mostly quiet. We change a lot of watch batteries every day. It’s a simple job, but it keeps us busy. People from the neighborhood bring in their old watches that stopped working years ago to see if they can be fixed. We do our best with them. The lighting in the shop is just regular tubes, nothing fancy. We don't use a computer for our records, we just write things down in a big ledger. It’s how we’ve always done it. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Mansarovar, just a place where you can get your watch fixed without any fuss. The owners are usually around, sitting near the entrance. We have some stools for customers if they need to wait a few minutes while we swap out a strap. It’s a plain, honest kind of place. We open early and close when the sun goes down.
