Jai Bajarang Kirana Store

Jai Bajarang Kirana Store is right in Renwal village. We are located near the Pachar Mod, which is a spot most people in the village know well. Being in the Phulera tehsil, it is a bit of a rural setting. Our shop is where people come for their daily needs like salt, sugar, flour, and other kitchen stuff. We have big sacks of grains sitting on the floor and jars of sweets on the counter for the kids. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, I suppose. We know almost everyone who walks through the door by their first name. Sometimes people stay for a bit just to chat about the weather or the crops. It can get quite dusty since the shop opens right onto the road near the crossing. We don’t have those fancy scanners or shopping carts like the stores in the city. We just write things down in a ledger if someone is buying on credit until the end of the month. The fans overhead hum all day to keep the heat away, but it’s still warm in the afternoons. We open up early because that’s when the village is most active. It is just a simple life here, running the store and making sure we have enough stock for the local families who depend on us for their groceries.
