J R Yadav is based out of M-23 in the New Market area near the Jaipur G P O and Khasa Kothi. It is a central spot, so we get a lot of people passing by our door every single day. The office is not very big, just enough room for a desk and some chairs for people to sit when they come to talk. Being near Khasa Kothi means there is always something happening outside, whether it is a protest or just the usual city rush. We have been working from this location for quite a few years now. Most of what we do involves handling paperwork and talking to people who need help with various things. It is not the kind of job that gets you famous, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the heat, but that is just part of living in Jaipur. We do not have any big advertisements or flashy signs outside. Usually, someone just tells a friend to come see us at the New Market. We try to keep things organized, but there are always piles of files that seem to grow on their own. We drink a lot of tea while we work and try to stay on top of everything. It is just a regular local business run by regular people who want to get home on time.
