J P Engineering Works

J P Engineering Works is based at Plot No. 104 E on Road No-7 in the V.K.I. Area. This is a big industrial zone, so we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. We do a lot of lathe work and general engineering repairs for the machines that other people use in their businesses. Our shop is full of heavy equipment and the floor is always a bit oily, which is just part of the job. I’ve spent most of my life working with tools, so I’m more comfortable around a machine than a computer. We don't have a fancy office; we usually just sit on stools and have tea while discussing a job with a customer. People come to us when something breaks and they need it fixed quickly so they can get back to work. We don't do any big marketing or have a "vision" statement. We just look at the broken part and try to figure out the best way to make it work again. The V.K.I. Area is a tough place to work because it’s hot and loud, but there is a lot of good work being done here. We are just one of many small shops trying to keep things running for the local industry. We take things as they come and don't worry too much about being polished or professional-sounding. We just focus on the metal and the machines.
