You can find Durga Embroidery at B- 10 in the Sudharshanpura Industrial Area. We are right opposite the water purification plant, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The area is full of different units and workshops, so there’s always something going on. Our place is usually filled with the sound of machines and the smell of thread. We have a lot of embroidery work going on at any given time. It’s not a very big space, so things can get a bit cluttered with rolls of fabric and bags of supplies. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. You just walk in and we’re usually right there working on something. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with the orders to worry about that right now. Working in Sudharshanpura means being part of a busy network of local businesses. We see the same delivery drivers every day and chat with the neighbors across the way. It’s a straightforward life. We focus on the needles and the patterns and making sure we don't make mistakes. It’s quiet work in a noisy area, if that makes sense. We just keep our heads down and get through the day's tasks as best as we can. It’s just how we operate here every day of the week.
