Indian Wedding Sarees

The shop is tucked away at 43-B Readiprint Fashions Lane 4 in the Kartarpura Industrial Area. It’s a bit of an industrial spot, so there are always trucks and tempos moving around nearby. Indian Wedding Sarees is where we spend most of our time, surrounded by piles of fabric and different colors of thread. It’s usually pretty dusty outside because of the road work or the factories nearby, but inside we try to keep things organized. We handle a lot of different clothes here. During the wedding season, it gets really crowded and frantic. We have people coming in looking for specific things, and we do our best to find what they need in the stacks. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s not a fancy mall store with bright spotlights. We have regular tube lights and some old wooden counters. Our staff has been here for years, so we all know each other well. We eat lunch together in the back room when it isn't too busy. Kartarpura isn't the most scenic part of Jaipur, but it’s where all the real work happens. We focus on getting the orders ready and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It’s a lot of folding, unfolding, and checking sizes every single day.
