India Today Fashions

Our workshop is located at F-55A in the Malviya Industrial Area. We share this industrial zone with a lot of other businesses, so there’s always a lot of movement on the street. India Today Fashions is mostly about the fabric and the finished pieces we have hanging on the racks. It’s a bit of a crowded space because we have so many rolls of cloth everywhere. The cutting tables are big and take up most of the central room. We have a few windows that let in some light, but mostly we rely on the overhead tubes. It’s a practical place, not a fancy boutique. We have workers who have been sewing for decades and they know exactly what they are doing. We don't spend time on big speeches or corporate goals. We just look at the orders for the day and get to work. Sometimes the humidity makes the fabric hard to handle, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We usually have a bit of a mess with threads and pins on the floor, but we sweep up every evening. It’s a local business and we know our neighbors well. We don't have a big marketing team. We just focus on making sure the garments are made the right way. It’s a lot of hard work and we take pride in just getting it done.
