India Fabrication & Bridge Engineering

India Fabrication & Bridge Engineering is based out of our workshop in Dhobi Wala. We are located right near the Dobiwala Gotey Shah Ki Chungi, so there is always a lot of movement happening outside our doors. Most days start early before the sun gets too high because the heat from the welding and metalwork makes the shop floor pretty warm. It is a busy place with a lot of heavy iron and steel moving around. We spend our time working on bridge components and other fabrication tasks that come our way. The floor is usually messy with offcuts and tools, but we know where everything is. You won’t find any polished showroom here, just a lot of practical machinery and people getting their hands dirty. Sometimes the traffic by the chungi gets backed up, and we hear the horns all day while we are trying to measure out sections. We take our breaks when we can, usually grabbing a quick tea from the stall down the street. It is just a normal local operation where we focus on the task at hand. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it serves its purpose for the kind of heavy work we do every week. We have been in this spot for a while now and most of the neighbors know us by the sound of the grinders. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening and we try to get things done right.
