Indana Stones Private Limited operates out of B-69 in Nemi Nagar, which is just off Gandhi Path in Vaishali Nagar. Being in Jaipur, we are surrounded by a lot of other businesses, but we mainly focus on the stone trade. It’s a very physical business. We spend a lot of time looking at slabs, checking for cracks, and making sure the dimensions are what the buyers asked for. Our office in Vaishali Nagar is where all the admin stuff happens. It’s not a huge place, but it works for us. Gandhi Path is always busy, so there is always a bit of background noise from the street while we are trying to work. We don't use any big words to describe ourselves. We are just people who know a bit about rocks and how to move them from one place to another. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at inventory lists. Sometimes the weather in Rajasthan makes it hard to work at the yards, but the office stays relatively cool. We have been at this address for a while and have a routine that seems to work. We show up, handle the stone orders, and go home. It’s honest work, and we try not to overcomplicate things with unnecessary talk. If you come by, you’ll probably see a few samples lying around and us busy with calculators and pencils.
