Ice Berg

Our little shop Ice Berg is located over in Vaishali Nagar. It is not a very complicated place. We have the big chest freezers lined up against the walls and a few tables for people who want to sit down for a bit. The hum of the cooling units is the constant background noise here. In the heat of the afternoon, the shop is a bit of a refuge for people trying to get out of the sun. We spend a lot of time checking the temperatures because if the power goes out, we have a real problem on our hands. The flavors we have change sometimes depending on what we can get, but we mostly keep the basics that everyone likes. You see a lot of families coming in after dinner, and the kids usually end up making a mess on the floor with drips, which we have to mop up later. Vaishali Nagar has changed a lot since we started, with more cars and more people moving in, but our corner stays pretty much the same. We are not trying to be the most modern place in the city. We just want to make sure the ice cream is cold and the place is open when people are looking for a treat. Sometimes we run out of the popular stuff early, and we just have to tell people to try something else. It is just a small local business run by people who live nearby.
