Hypercity Retail India Ltd K Reheja Group

Our store is over on Jhotwara Road in Jaipur. It is quite a busy stretch of road and there is always something going on outside. While we are part of the K Raheja Group and Hypercity Retail (I) Ltd, the daily vibe here is very much about the local Jaipur crowd. We spend a lot of time just organizing the aisles and making sure the shelves aren't empty. It gets pretty hot in Rajasthan during the summer months, so our air conditioning is always working overtime. We have a lot of staff who have been with us for a long time. They know the regulars who come in every week. It isn't a fancy corporate headquarters; it’s a working retail environment where things can get a bit loud and chaotic on the weekends. We have to deal with a lot of deliveries and sometimes the trucks get stuck in the Jhotwara traffic. That is just part of the job. We don't really have a grand vision we talk about; we just focus on making sure the floor is clean and the products are where they should be. It is a lot of standing on your feet and moving boxes around. We like being in this part of Jaipur because it feels real. We are just a bunch of people working together to keep a big retail space running as smoothly as we can manage for the neighborhood folks who visit us.
