Hotel Teej

Hotel Teej sits right along the Sawai Jai Singh Highway in the Bani Park area. Being near the highway means we get a lot of travelers who are just passing through the 302016 zip code. It’s a convenient spot, even if the road noise gets a little loud during the peak hours of the afternoon. We have a small team here that handles everything from the laundry to fixing the plumbing when something goes wrong. Most of our day is spent making sure the bathrooms are clean and the beds are made properly. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local spot that’s been here for quite some time. The highway brings in a lot of different people, and we enjoy hearing where everyone is headed next. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just light some candles and wait for it to come back on. It’s part of living in this neighborhood. We grow a few plants out front to try and make the entrance look a bit nicer, though the dust from the road makes it hard to keep them green. We don't have any fancy robots or automated check-ins; you just talk to whichever one of us is sitting at the desk. We keep things straightforward because that's what works for us and our guests. It’s a lot of work, but we take pride in keeping the place running day after day.
