Hotel Maharani Palace

Our place is located on Station Road, right near the Polovictory area. This is a very hectic part of the city, especially with all the buses and rickshaws constantly moving around. The old Polovictory cinema is the main landmark people use to find us. Since we are so close to the station, there is always a lot of dust and noise from the road. We spend a lot of time dusting the windows because of all the traffic outside. It’s a lively neighborhood, though. You can find almost anything you need just by walking out the front door. We aren't a big chain hotel with fancy uniforms. We’re just a local business with a few staff members who have been here a long time. We know the shortcuts to avoid the traffic and the best places to grab a quick chai. The building itself has its quirks, like a door that sticks or a light that flickers sometimes, but we fix things as we find them. It’s a very hands-on job. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up, clean the rooms, and help the guests who arrive from the train station. It’s hot in the summer and crowded during the festival seasons, but that’s just how life is on Station Road. We’re just here doing our thing and keeping the doors open for travelers who need a bed after their journey.
