Hotel Highway King

We’ve been here on Station Road along the Delhi Highway for a good while now. It’s a busy spot near Paota in Tehsil Virat Nagar. You can see the trucks and cars zooming by all day and night from our front gate. Most people who stop by are just looking for a place to rest their legs after driving for hours on the main road. The building is simple, nothing too fancy, just enough rooms to keep everyone comfortable. Our staff mostly comes from the nearby villages, and we all know each other pretty well. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets a bit much, but that is just how it is when you are located right on the edge of the road. We spend a lot of time keeping the place tidy because the wind blows everything around. There is a lot of traffic heading toward Delhi, so it never really gets quiet around here. People come in, have their stay, and head back out early in the morning. We have our own routine of checking the rooms and making sure the water is running right. It’s a straightforward business, really. We don’t try to be something we aren’t. We just provide a spot to sleep and get away from the sun. The weather gets quite hot in this part of Rajasthan, so the shade here is always appreciated by those passing through. Our gate is always open for those who need a break from the long drive ahead.
