Hotel Haveli

We are located on M I Road, which is one of the busiest streets you will find in Jaipur. Being right opposite the Air India Radio building means we hear the city noise all day long. Park House is an old spot, and we have been operating here for quite some time. The name Haveli sounds fancy, but we are a pretty straightforward place. Things break. The building has high ceilings and thick walls, which helps a bit with the heat during the summer. We spend a lot of time on the maintenance because old buildings always have something that needs fixing. One day it's a leaky tap, the next it’s a door that won't shut right because the wood expanded. We just handle it as it comes. The staff is small, just a few of us who have known each other for years and work together. We eat our meals together in the small back room when things are quiet and there are no guests at the desk. Most people who stay here like being so close to the markets and the shops. You can walk out the door and find almost anything you need within five minutes of walking. We don’t offer much besides a bed and a roof, but for most people, that’s plenty for their trip. We keep the registers by hand and make sure everyone gets their tea in the morning when they wake up and start their day.
