Hotel Dhruv

We are located right where M I Road meets Tonk Road. It is a very noisy part of town because of all the buses and rickshaws honking their horns at all hours. The building has been here for a good many years now. It’s not one of those modern glass buildings you see popping up everywhere. We have a small lobby where people sit and wait for their rooms to be ready. Sometimes the elevator takes a minute or two to arrive, so people use the stairs instead. The rooms are basic, just a bed and a TV, nothing too special. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we opened. They know the area well and usually tell guests where to find a good tea stall nearby. We spend our mornings checking people out and making sure the laundry gets picked up on time. The carpets in the hallway are getting a bit thin, but they still do the job. During the wedding season, it gets really loud at night because of the processions passing by on the main road. We don't offer any big fancy meals, just some simple things if someone is really hungry. It’s a practical place to stay if you need to be near the center of things. We just try to keep the doors open and the rooms clean for whoever shows up.
