Hemant Sogani & Associates

Our office, Hemant Sogani & Associates, is at H 24 in the C Scheme area on Chitranjan Marg. C Scheme is a nice part of town, though it’s gotten a lot busier over the last few years than it used to be. The office is in a building that looks a bit like a house, so it feels a bit more comfortable than a sterile workplace. We have a small garden area out front that we try to keep alive, though the summer heat makes it a real struggle. Inside, it’s mostly just rooms filled with stacks of paper and folders. We have books everywhere because that’s just the nature of what we do here. It’s not a polished, modern space with glass walls or fancy lights. It’s more about wooden tables and old-fashioned desk lamps. We usually have the windows open in the mornings to let some fresh air in before the afternoon heat sets in. Chitranjan Marg has a lot of trees, which makes the walk to the office quite pleasant. We spend our days mostly reading, writing, and talking amongst ourselves about the latest tasks. We don't really have a dedicated front desk person, so whoever happens to be closest to the door usually gets up to see who is there. It’s a relaxed atmosphere but we stay very busy. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to catch up on, and the whole street gets very quiet then. It’s a good place for us.
