We are based out of a building on Station Road, which is always full of people rushing to catch their trains. Hase Agro Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for quite some time now. Dealing with agricultural supplies means we talk to a lot of people from outside the city who come in for the day. The noise from the railway station is constant, but after a few weeks, you stop hearing the whistles and the announcements. Our office is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for loading and unloading. There isn't much decoration on the walls, just a few calendars and some old photos. We keep things simple because that is how we like to work. The floor is made of old stone that stays cool even when it’s boiling outside. I usually get here early before the main rush starts to get the paperwork sorted. My partner handles the phone calls while I manage the inventory in the back room. Sometimes the tea man from across the street brings us a round of chai in the afternoon. It is a humble setup, but it works for what we do. We don't try to be something we are not. We just focus on getting the supplies out to the people who need them for their land. It’s honest work on a very busy road.
