Hari Om Kirana & General Store

We are located on Varun Path in Mansarovar, specifically at 4/293-A on Madhyam Marg. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we get to know everyone who lives on this block. The store is where people come when they realize they ran out of salt or need some biscuits for tea. We open up quite early because that’s when the milk delivery comes. It can be cold in the winters standing out there waiting for the crates. The shop is packed with bags of rice, pulses, and rows of snacks. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it gets a bit messy. Kids from the nearby houses often come in with a few coins for candy. It’s a simple life. We don’t have fancy scanners; we just know the prices or look at the labels. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when there are no customers. You see the same cars go by every day. It’s more than just a shop; it’s where we spend most of our lives. We’ve seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up and start coming in on their own. We don't do any advertising. People just know we are here if they need something. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the local community here in Mansarovar. We stay open until late so people can grab things after work.
