Gupta Provision Store

This is Gupta Provision Store and we are located at A 755 in Shastri Nagar. We have been in this spot for many years now. It is a simple place that doesn't have any big signs or fancy decorations. We just have the name painted above the door and that is enough. We sell the basic things like flour, pulses, spices, and soap. Shastri Nagar is a lively neighborhood and there is always someone walking past our door. The shop is just one room and we use every bit of space for storage. We don't have much room for people to walk around, so most customers just stand at the counter and tell us what they want. It makes things go faster. My father started this shop and I took it over from him a long time ago. We don't use computers or anything like that; we just write things down when we need to. The street can get a bit muddy when it rains, but we keep the shop floor dry. We aren't trying to be like those big supermarkets you see in the malls. We are just a local provision store for the people who live on this street. We open up in the morning and close when it’s time for dinner. It is a quiet life and we like it that way.
