Ground And Brewed started in a small room in Sanganer. We are located at Jasmine, 305, on that Mangalam Ananda City Road. It is not a big office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a space where we focus on our beans and the brewing process. I remember when we first moved in, the lift was broken and we had to carry everything up to the third floor. It was exhausting but we got it done. Jaipur is a busy place, but up here in 305, it stays fairly quiet. We spend most of our mornings checking the roast and making sure the smell is just right. Sometimes the neighbors in the building ask us what we are making because the scent travels down the hallway. We don’t have a marketing team or someone to write fancy letters for us. We just know how we like our coffee and tea to taste. Some days the weather is so hot that even the machines seem tired, but we keep going anyway. It’s a simple life here in Sanganer. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make a decent cup of something. If you walk past Mangalam Ananda, you might see us coming and going with crates. It’s just us, working away in our little corner of the city. We hope the work shows in what we produce. That is really the whole story of Ground And Brewed.
