Gordhan Watch Co

Gordhan Watch Co is located at 142-143 Tripoliya Bazar. It’s two units put together, so we have a bit more room than some of the other shops around here. We handle all sorts of watches. Most of our day is spent at the bench, working on small parts. The bazaar is always crowded, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of ticking. We’ve been at this address for a long time. It’s a familiar spot for anyone who shops in this part of town. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we’re here between the other stalls and shops. The shelves are packed with different brands and styles. Some are old-fashioned and some are more modern. We try to keep a bit of everything. It’s a family-run kind of thing, nothing corporate about it. If a watch needs a battery or the glass is cracked, we take a look. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a watch shop in a very old, busy market. The walls are covered in clocks, and sometimes they all chime at different times. It can be a bit chaotic but we like it. Tripoliya Bazar has its own energy, and we are just a small part of that daily routine. It takes a lot of patience to fix these tiny things but that is just part of the job. You can usually hear the clocks ticking even when the street is extremely loud right outside the door.
