Gopal Mineral

If you head toward Sanganeri Gate and find yourself on Kote Road, you will likely see where we work. Gopal Mineral has been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. It is an old part of town, so the roads can be a bit narrow and the air is usually full of the sounds of the city. We deal with minerals, which isn’t always the cleanest job in the world. By the end of the day, our clothes are usually stained and there is grit in our shoes, but it is honest work. We do not have a flashy sign or a big glass front like the shops in the new malls. It is more about the piles of material and the bags waiting to be moved. Most of our day is spent checking the stock or speaking with drivers who are bringing in new loads from the mines. Kote Road stays busy, so there is always a rhythm to the place. We see a lot of regulars, people who have been coming to Sanganeri Gate for their supplies for decades. It feels like everyone knows everyone else around here. Sometimes we just stand by the entrance and watch the bikes go by when things get slow in the afternoon. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through the daily tasks and make sure the people who buy from us get what they need without any fuss. It is just a regular workplace.
