Ghiya General Store

We've been running Ghiya General Store here at G-17, Vinayak Enclave for a while now. It's right in Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, just across from the Nursery Park near Nursery Circle. Most people around here know where we are. We keep the shelves stocked with the basic stuff you need daily. Milk, bread, soap, that kind of thing. It's a small space, but we try to keep it organized so people can find what they're looking for without much trouble. The shop opens up early in the morning and we stay here until fairly late in the evening. Some days are busier than others, especially when school lets out or people are coming home from work. We handle the billing ourselves. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't have fancy displays or anything, just rows of items we think folks in the neighborhood actually use. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to shuffle boxes around while customers are waiting. It gets a bit crowded inside during those times. We know a lot of the regulars by name since they stop in a few times a week. It’s just how things go here in Jaipur. If we don’t have something, we usually tell people where else they might look or try to get it in the next order. It’s not a big corporate operation, just us managing the inventory and making sure the lights stay on. We've seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the store stays pretty much the same.
