Shalimar Exports

Shalimar Exports is at House No. 43-96 in Rajpa Chhapur, right near the Bnadan Ghat Gate. It’s an older part of the area, and our building has a lot of character and history to it. It’s definitely not a modern glass office building. It’s a real house where we’ve set up our export operations over the years. We use the different rooms for various stages of the process—some are for storage, some for checking the quality of goods, and one small room for the administrative stuff. It can get a bit tight and crowded when we have a big shipment ready to go out the door. You can hear the sounds of the street and the people outside all day long. We don't have any fancy brochures or a PR team to handle things. We just have our names and our reputation in the trade. We deal with various items, making sure they’re packed well enough to survive a very long journey across the sea. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially during the heavy rains, but we always manage to get through it. We’ve been in this neighborhood for years, and everyone around here knows what we do. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the daily news while we work. It’s a comfortable and honest way to run a business.
