Gaurav Provision Store sits right on Sawai Ram Singh Road, specifically Surajpur Main Road 11. Since we’re on a main road, there’s a constant stream of cars and buses passing by, which brings in a lot of random people looking for a quick bottle of water or some snacks. But we also have our regulars from the Surajpur area who come in for their weekly groceries. We stock all the basics like rice, different types of flour, spices, and cleaning supplies. The shelves are packed tight because we try to fit as much as possible into the space we have. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter while someone else is in the back checking the inventory. We don't have any fancy lighting or air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. In the mornings, we’re busy unpacking crates and making sure the bags are stacked right. By the time evening rolls around, the shop gets quite full and it’s a bit of a scramble to serve everyone quickly. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done with a pen and a notebook. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and our customers seem to like it that way. Being at number 11 on the main road means we never really have a quiet moment until we pull the shutters down at night.
