Ganpati Traders

We are located at 17, Moti Lal Atal Road, which is just off the main M.I. Road. It’s a very central part of Jaipur. Our shop is a trading business. We’ve been in this neighborhood for many years. You can see the old buildings all around us. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and a counter where we talk to customers. We sell a variety of items, mostly wholesale stuff. It’s a busy street. There are always rickshaws and bikes buzzing past the door. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have known each other forever. We keep the accounts in big registers, though we use a computer for some things now. The walls are lined with stock. It gets a bit dusty because of the open door, but that’s normal for a shop on this road. We have a small temple in the corner where we light incense every morning. It’s a traditional way of doing business. We don't do much advertising. People who walk by or have dealt with us before just drop in. We chat about the weather and the market prices while we work. It’s a simple life. We aren't trying to expand into a huge empire. We just want to run Ganpati Traders honestly and keep our regular customers happy. It’s a typical day-to-day routine here in the heart of the city. We usually wrap things up by late evening and lock the shutters.
