Our office is right in the middle of the APMC Market I in Vashi. Being at F-48 in Phase-II means we are surrounded by the constant movement of trucks and the smell of various goods being traded. Sector 19 is a loud, crowded place, especially in the early morning hours when everything starts moving. It is not the kind of place where you’d expect a quiet office, but we’ve made it our home. The walls are a bit plain, and there is always some dust from the market floating around, but that is just part of being here. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff for the agro business. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know which tea shop makes the best ginger chai and which shortcut to take to avoid the worst of the traffic near the station. It is a practical setup without any of the bells and whistles you see in modern corporate parks. We have our files, our computers, and a few fans that hum all day long. The work is steady, and though the surroundings are chaotic, we have a routine that keeps us going. It’s a regular business life in a busy market. Sometimes it gets overwhelming with the noise of the auctions and the loaders, but this is where the real work happens, far away from any polished showrooms or fancy lobbies.
