Dye Chem Industries

Dye Chem Industries is located over at Ramganj Bazar 70. This part of the city is always crowded and the lanes are narrow. We work with dyes and chemicals here. If you walk into our place, you will notice the floors and walls have different colors on them from all the years of work. It is not a clean or fancy office. It is a place where work gets done. We have barrels and sacks of materials stacked up everywhere. The smell of the chemicals is quite strong, but we have gotten used to it over time. We handle orders for local businesses, mostly people in the textile trade who need specific colors for their fabrics. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. We just answer the phone and help the people who walk through the door. The building we are in is quite old and the stairs are a bit steep. We spend a lot of our day measuring out quantities and making sure the labels are correct. It can be tiring work, especially when we have a large shipment to prepare for a customer. We don't use many computers here, mostly just ledgers and notebooks to keep track of what we have in stock. The traffic in Ramganj Bazar makes it hard to move things in and out, but we have a system that works for us. It’s just a straightforward industrial business in the heart of the market.
