D.R.B. Commodities (India) Private Limited is located at G-7 on Sansar Chandra Road. This is a very hectic part of the city. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of ledgers. Being in the commodities business means we spend hours tracking things and making calls. Sansar Chandra Road is always noisy with horns and people, which you can hear even inside. We deal with the logistics of moving goods from one place to another. It involves a lot of paperwork that piles up on the tables. Some days the internet is slow and it makes everything harder. We aren't trying to be some high-flying corporate giant. We are just a local team working out of G-7. There is always tea being served while we discuss the latest prices or shipping delays. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are too busy with the daily flow of business. It’s about getting the numbers right and making sure the supplies are moving. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the routine stays pretty much the same. Most of the time is spent staring at screens or talking to transporters. It is just a regular office life in a crowded market street where we try to stay organized amidst the chaos.
