Dm Tea Company

The Dm Tea Company is tucked away in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area, specifically at Udhyog Nagar, Block No 30 A. We are right opposite VKIA Road No 8. It’s an industrial spot, so there are always trucks and warehouses around us. Inside, the air smells like dried tea leaves, which is a scent you get used to pretty quickly. We spend the morning sorting through bags and checking the inventory. The building is quite functional, with high ceilings and concrete floors that stay cool even when it’s hot outside. It is not the kind of place where you’d expect a fancy lounge. We have a few simple desks and some old wooden crates used for sitting or stacking. Working in VKIA means dealing with the noise of the neighboring factories, but we don't mind it much. It’s just the background of our day. We make sure the tea is stored properly so it stays fresh. Sometimes we brew a pot right here in the back to test a batch. It’s a very straightforward operation. We don’t spend money on big advertisements. Mostly, we just focus on the bags coming in and the shipments going out to our regulars. The light in the warehouse is a bit dim in some corners, but we know where everything is by heart. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day after day, in this industrial block.
