Diva Designs

Diva Designs is our little place on New Sanganer Road in Katewa Nagar. We are at number 244. It is a busy street in Jaipur, so there is always something going on right outside our door. We do design work here, though it is not always as glamorous as people think. Most days we are just surrounded by fabric scraps, rough sketches, and measuring tapes that always go missing. It can get pretty messy when we are in the middle of a big project. We have a few sewing machines and a big wooden table where we do all the cutting and marking. The shop is not huge, but we have managed to fit everything we need into it. Sometimes the lighting is not great in the evenings, but we make do with a couple of extra lamps. We get a lot of local walk-ins who want something custom made or just want to see what we are currently working on. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us and our ideas. We like the neighborhood because it feels very grounded and real. We spend our afternoons drinking chai and trying to get the patterns just right. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes our backs ache from leaning over the table all day. We enjoy the process of making things from scratch. If you are passing by Katewa Nagar, you will probably see us through the window.
