Design Square Interrior & Architect

We have our office over in Shyam Nagar, right near the post office in the Sodala area of Jaipur. It is a local spot where a few of us sit and work on house plans and interior layouts. Most of the time, the desk is covered in papers and coffee mugs because we are usually in the middle of drawing something up. We started this because we liked seeing how old spaces could be changed around. It isn't a fancy setup with big glass walls; it’s just a place where we can focus on the work. People from around the neighborhood stop by to ask about building a new room or fixing up their kitchen. We spend half our time here and the other half out at construction sites making sure the workers understand the drawings. Sometimes things go wrong with the materials or the weather stops the work, but that is just part of the job in this city. We try to be practical about what can actually be done with the space someone has. It is a lot of measuring and then measuring again to be sure. We don't have a big sales pitch or anything like that. We just show up, do the drawings, and help people get their homes finished. It has been a good few years being here in Jaipur and seeing the streets around us grow. Our door is usually open if you want to chat.
