Our company, Delite Ore & Minerals Pvt Ltd, is based out of a small office at 20 Jagatpura in the Kailashpuri area. It’s not in the middle of the city, which suits us just fine because we need a bit of space for our operations. Working with minerals and ores is a gritty job. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone wearing suits. Mostly, it is just us in our work clothes dealing with phone calls and shipping documents. There are always jars of rocks and mineral samples sitting on the windowsills and the desks. They collect dust just like everything else here. We spend a lot of time talking to truck drivers and coordinating where the material needs to go. The neighborhood is mostly residential and small businesses, so it stays relatively calm compared to the main Jaipur markets. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back on while we talk about the day’s work. We’ve been at this for a while and we have a routine that works for us. It is a simple office with a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of talk about tonnages and delivery dates. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. It is just a practical place for handling industrial materials and keeping the logistics moving for our clients across the region.
