Dayal Provision Store

Our store is situated at number 2 on Amer Road, very close to the old Ajmeri Gate. It is a very historic part of the city, and the view of the gate is something we see every single day. Dayal Provision Store has been around for many years, serving the people who live in this crowded neighborhood. The shop itself is quite old, with high ceilings and walls that have seen a lot of history. We stock all the basic things that households need for their daily cooking and cleaning. It is a busy place, especially in the mornings when the milk and bread arrive. We get a lot of noise from the traffic on Amer Road, as it is a main route for people heading towards the tourist spots. The shop has a very traditional feel, and we haven't changed much over the decades. We don't have fancy scanners or bright lights. Everything is done in a very old-fashioned way. We know most of the families who live nearby, and they have been buying from us for generations. It is a very grounded way of life. Sometimes the store feels a bit cramped when we get a big delivery, but we manage to get everything onto the shelves somehow. Being near Ajmeri Gate at number 2 is our home, and we just keep doing what we know best, day in and day out.
