We are on the ground floor of C-54A on Sarojini Marg. That’s in the C-Scheme area of Jaipur, which is a pretty well-known part of town. Curious Life Coffeeprivate Limited is what we call ourselves. Coffee is what we do every single day. The building is easy enough to find if you know the street. We’ve been here for a bit, and it’s a good spot for a business like ours. We spend a lot of our time around beans and grinders. It’s not just sitting around; there is a lot of lifting and cleaning involved too. The ground floor makes it easy to move bags in and out without having to deal with stairs or elevators. C-Scheme has a lot of energy, and we fit right into that. We aren't into that corporate vibe where everything is scripted. We just talk to people like normal and try to make decent coffee. Sometimes the machines act up or the power flickers, but that is just how it is in Jaipur. We use 302001 as our pin code and we've become regulars at the local shops nearby. Our team is small and we all know each other well. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just show up, roast what needs roasting, and serve what needs serving. It's a lot of manual work and long hours but it’s what we chose to do. We usually have the radio playing while we work.
