Crafts & Creations is out in the RIICO Industrial Area at Bagru Extension. Our plot number is G-180. If you have ever been to Bagru you know it is a place where a lot of making happens. The industrial area is full of warehouses and workshops. It is not a place for window shopping. It's where the actual production gets done. Our building is a big shed-like structure that keeps the rain out. It can get very hot inside during the summer months because of the metal roof. We have big fans going but they only do so much. The sounds of machines and trucks are constant around G-180. We don't have any fancy decorations in the office area. It's mostly just desks covered in paperwork and samples. Most people who come here are doing business or delivering raw materials. Being in the RIICO area means we have to deal with the logistics of being a bit far from the city center. We eat our lunch together in a small corner of the workshop. It’s a hard-working environment and we don't pretend it's anything else. We are just a group of people trying to get the orders shipped out on time. The dust from the industrial roads is something we just live with. We focus on the craft and leave the fancy stuff to others.
