M. M. Exports

M. M. Exports is located at No. 6 Isarda Palace on Jacob Road. It is a busy part of Civil Lines and you can always hear the traffic outside our windows. The building is older and has its own quirks, but it works for us. We have a small office where we handle all the shipping and paperwork. It’s mostly just a few desks and a lot of boxes stacked up against the walls. We spend our mornings checking lists and making sure the courier guys know where to pick up the stuff. It isn’t a fancy setup. Some days the phones don’t stop ringing and other days it is very quiet. Civil Lines is a good area to be in, though the parking can be a real headache sometimes. We try to keep everything on schedule, but things happen. The power might go out or a shipment gets delayed at the port. We just take it as it comes. Usually, someone goes out to get tea for everyone in the afternoon. It’s a simple way to work. We’ve been here for a long time now and we know the neighborhood well. Our desks are a bit messy with notes and old files, but we know where everything is. It’s just us doing the daily work without much fuss. Sometimes the cat from downstairs comes in to visit us and we give it a bit of milk. It’s those little things that make the day go by faster.
