City Shop

City Shop is right in the middle of the Main Market in Malviya Nagar. If you know where Sagar Restaurant is, we are just a few steps away at Shop C 2. It’s a crowded area, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but that’s just how it is around here. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack things pretty high to fit everything in. It feels a bit tight when there are more than three people inside at once. We sell a bit of everything that people in the neighborhood need. It’s mostly locals who stop by while they are out doing their regular shopping. We know most of our regulars by their first names. It’s not like those big supermarkets where nobody talks to you. We deal with suppliers and handle the inventory ourselves. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and things get a little chaotic, but we manage. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, but it shows we’ve been busy. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s just us running the counter and making sure the shelves aren't empty. We open early and stay until the market starts to quiet down. It’s a straightforward life. We just try to be helpful to whoever walks in through that door.
