Chirag Collection

If you head over to Indira Bazar and look for the Sawaeda Complex, you will find us on the first floor at shop number 364. Chirag Collection is a place where we keep a lot of different items packed into the shelves. Being on the first floor means we have a decent view of the people walking through the bazar below. Indira Bazar is always packed with shoppers looking for a bargain, and the noise filters up to us all day. The stairs in the complex are a bit narrow, but once you get up here, there is plenty of stuff to look at. We don't have a fancy lighting system, just the regular tubes that make the colors look real. Most of our day is spent unfolding and refolding things or helping someone find a specific color they have in mind. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get more than three or four people in at once, but we make it work. The walls have a few scuffs from moving boxes around, but we don't mind much. It’s a real shop run by real people who just want to get through the day’s work. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on the people who walk through Indira Bazar and the regulars who have been coming to see us since we first opened our doors up here.
