My shop is at 241 Indira Bazar. It’s not a huge place, just a regular spot where I spend most of my day. Most mornings I open up, sweep the front, and get the tools ready. You see a lot of people walking by here. Some stop in because their watch stopped ticking or they need a new strap. I’ve handled so many different types of watches over the years, from those old ones you have to wind up every day to the newer digital ones. It's quiet work mostly. You sit there with the eyeglass on, looking at tiny gears and springs that most people never even think about. Indira Bazar has changed a lot since I started, but the shop stays pretty much the same. I keep the parts organized in small drawers, though sometimes it feels like I'm running out of room. People come in and chat for a bit while I work. It’s a local life. Sometimes the lights flicker or it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is. I don’t use any fancy machines, just the same screwdrivers and tweezers I’ve had for years. It’s about keeping things running for another few years. If you’re walking down the street, you’ll see the sign. It’s nothing fancy, just a place to get things fixed up. I’ll be here until the evening when the market starts to quiet down and I can finally close up for the night.
