Chaarbhuja Kirana N General Store

We've been here on Sirsi Road for a while now. It’s just a small place, Chaarbhuja Kirana N General Store, but we try to keep what people need for their kitchens. Jaipur gets busy, and our corner here stays pretty active with neighbors coming in for tea leaves or maybe some lentils. I usually open up early because that’s when the milk delivery comes. It's a lot of lifting bags and checking packets to make sure nothing is expired. Sometimes the shelves look a bit messy when we get a big shipment, but we get through it. People around here know me by name, and I know which brand of soap they like. It isn't anything fancy. Just a counter, some scales, and rows of jars. Dealing with change is always a bit of a headache, especially during the morning rush. My cousin helps out when he can, but mostly it's just me. We have the usual stuff like flour, sugar, and those little snacks kids want after school. Sirsi Road has changed a lot since we started, more traffic and new houses everywhere. But the shop stays pretty much the same. We just keep the lights on and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It’s hard work standing all day, but it’s what we do. If we run out of something, I try to get it in by the next day. That’s just how it goes at Chaarbhuja Kirana.
