We've been at this spot in Bani Park on the SJS Highway for a while now. It's A-3 if you're looking at the numbers on the buildings. The highway gets pretty loud during the day with all the trucks and cars, but we've gotten used to the constant noise. Most people just stop in because they’re passing through or they live nearby and want to get out of the house for a bit. We started Cafe Court because there wasn’t much else around this specific corner back then. It’s just a normal place where we keep the tables wiped down and the lights on for whoever walks in. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it's on high speed, but nobody seems to mind it much. We see the same faces every morning, mostly people heading to work or neighbors taking a walk before the heat gets too bad. The afternoon is usually quieter when the sun is really hitting the front windows. We don't do anything fancy here, just what people expect from a local cafe. Our staff knows most of the regulars by their first names or at least what they usually like to order. It's not a big corporate chain or anything like that. Just us running a business on the highway. We spend a lot of time just chatting with folks who have a few minutes to spare. It feels like home to us after all these years.
