Cafe Coffee Day

This branch of Cafe Coffee Day is over in Lalkothi. It’s a pretty busy area so we get all sorts of people walking through the door. You’ll see students from the nearby colleges sitting with their books for hours, and then you’ll have people in suits trying to have a quick meeting. The espresso machine makes a lot of noise, which fills up the space when it’s quiet. We spend a lot of our time refilling the milk and cleaning out the coffee grounds. It’s not a very big place, so it can feel a bit cramped when the afternoon crowd arrives. We don’t have fancy decorations on the walls, just the usual stuff you see in these places. Sometimes the wifi acts up and we have to restart the router, which makes everyone a bit annoyed, but we just do our best to get it back up. The staff here is mostly young people just working their shifts. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the cups are clean and the coffee is hot. In the evenings, the street outside gets really noisy with traffic, but inside it stays relatively okay. It’s a decent enough spot to sit if you’re waiting for someone or just need a break from the Lalkothi heat. We just keep things running as smoothly as we can.
