You can find us at Shop No. C 20, right by the Chitrakoot Stadium in Vaishali Nagar. Being near the stadium means we get all kinds of people, especially when there’s a game or people are out for their morning walks. Budhas Cafe isn't a place with marble floors or expensive lighting. It’s just a shop where you can get a decent drink and something small to eat. We spend a lot of time cleaning the tables and making sure the milk hasn't gone off in the heat. Jaipur summers are no joke, so the fans are always on full blast. We are a small team, usually just two or three of us behind the counter. It gets really hectic in the evenings when the families come out to the stadium grounds for some fresh air. We don’t have a "philosophy" or a "mission" statement to show off. We just want to make sure the tea is hot and the snacks aren't stale when someone pays for them. Sometimes we run out of stuff because we didn't expect a crowd, and we have to run to the market nearby to grab more supplies. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but we make it work somehow. It’s a nice little spot to see the city life go by. We’re just happy to be part of the neighborhood and have a place where people can sit for a few minutes.
