Bhavishya Darshan

People usually find us because they are walking toward the Govardhan Nath Ji Ka Mandir or just taking a stroll along Hawa Mahal Road. We’ve been here in the Hawamahal area for a while now. The shop isn’t very big, but it’s enough for what we do. Most mornings start with a bit of cleaning and setting up the chairs. It gets quite loud outside with the tourists and the traffic, but inside it stays mostly calm. I’ve noticed that people come in when they have something on their mind, or maybe they just need a bit of direction. Bhavishya Darshan is just a simple place. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. Just a desk, some books, and a fan that clicks sometimes when it’s on high. My cousin helps out sometimes, but usually, it’s just me here. We see all kinds of people, from locals who live just around the corner to folks who traveled a long way to visit the temple. Sometimes we sit and talk for an hour, other times it’s quick. The chai wallah next door brings over tea twice a day, which helps when the afternoon gets slow. I like the view of the old walls from the front door. It feels solid. We don’t try to do too much, just what we know. If you are near the temple, you’ll see our sign. It’s been there so long the paint is peeling a little, but everyone knows where it is.
